WHAT WE DO

PLANNING FOR INDIVIDUALS
& FAMILIES

Planning for
the best life possible

Planning for the future is very personal. We all want different things and have different outlooks on life. At NOW, we pride ourselves on really getting to know and understand our clients, initially through our CLIENT JOURNEY including our ‘Discovery’ process. We’ll discuss what’s important to you and help you identify, quantify and help achieve your goals.

Goals can be short, medium and long term.

For example, your short term goals could be to help your children on to the housing ladder and plan a long haul holiday, your medium term goal could be to plan for what we like to call ‘Financial Freedom Day’, the day when going to work becomes a choice as you have the financial provision in place to allow you to lead the lifestyle you want without relying on employment income. Your long term goals could be to travel the world when you finish working and also ensure your estate remains under the inheritance tax threshold so upon death, your assets pass tax efficiently to your loved ones.

By using the NOW LifePlan we can show you clearly whether you’re on track to achieve everything you want to, and also what can be done to help improve your position.

Financial Planning
can be complex

People often don’t have the time or expertise to give their finances the attention they deserve. That’s where we come in, we help you plan for the future and monitor if your plans remain on track while you continue to focus on other important parts of your life.

Our
Relationship

We only believe in working with clients for the long term.

We meet our clients on a regular basis to provide them with guidance and reassurance. We’re also here for them in between meetings if there’s anything they want to discuss or need a second opinion on.

If you’re still unsure if Financial Planning is for you, here’s some common questions we’ve received from prospective clients who later became NOW clients.

  • Can you help provide clarity regarding my financial future?
  • When can I retire?
  • Can I retire early?
  • Is investing the right thing for me?
  • How much should I be contributing to my pension?
  • Are my pensions and investments in the right place?
  • How can I reduce the amount of tax I pay?
  • How can I help my children on to the housing ladder?
  • I’m concerned at my families financial position if I die. Can you help?
  • I’m concerned about my position if I couldn’t work due to illness. Can you help?
  • If I die, will my estate be subject to inheritance tax?
  • My parents are elderly and require care, can you help with their planning?

The value of an investment with St. James’s Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
